Platinum Membership $70/year
This is for NSA members who have the
designation of CSPs (Certified Speaking Professional), past NSA-NJ Chapter presidents, individuals who have
been an NSA member for 10 years or more, and the current year’s Chapter Member of the Year.
Affiliate $140/year
Members of NSAs Academy for Professional Speaking (see below) are eligible to join NSA-NJ as an affiliate. Affiliates are entitled to attend "members only" events and attend all meetings/events at member rates. Vendors $300/year
This is for those who do not qualify for NSA membership but have products or services related to the speaking business that would be of interest or value to our members. NSA-NJ Vendors are entitled to a one-time 5 minute presentation at a chapter meeting, may attend meetings and events at member rates, can place marketing materials on the “Members-Only” table at meetings, and will be listed on our web site. NSA-NJ reserves the right to approve all who apply for the Vendor category.

* If you are considering becoming a professional member of NSA, the first step
is to see whether you are able to meet the minimum requirements to join. Let's review NSA's membership requirements:
Option 1:
You have received compensation for at least 20 presentations in the past 12 months.
Option 2:
You have presented at least 20 times to audiences of 15 or more as a part of your
salaried position in the past 12 months. Option 3:
You made at least $25,000 presenting in the past 12 months.
Meeting any ONE of these criteria will qualify you for NSA membership.

If you do not qualify for membership, please read the information
below to learn about the many options available for emerging speakers.
Moving from Passion to Profession NSA offers a nurturing environment
for emerging speakers who want to learn how to get started in the speaking profession. Although you may not yet
qualify for membership, there are a myriad of ways to participate in the NSA experience as you develop your speaking and business skills.
The Academy for Professional Speaking
The Academy is a program designed to help you make the jump from being a great speaker to being a paid speaker. Learn to navigate the world of professional speaking from the people who have made it! Attend NSA National Meetings Everyone is welcome to attend NSA's Labs, Workshops, Conventions and Educational Retreats. Get involved with the NSA-NJ Chapter Everyone is welcome to attend our open meetings and get involved on various committees. We also offer special programs for those getting started in business. |
