To honor The National Speakers Association's Founder Cavett Robert, and continue NSA's legacy of sharing and giving, November 14, 2008 will be our 2nd Annual Spirit of NSA Day, a national day of advocacy encouraging NSA members to support one another and their community. This year, and on every November 14 going forward, the day serves as a reminder to NSA members, encouraging them to:
- Focus on giving back
- Provide genuine support to speaking colleagues
- Take time to connect, help, mentor or refer business to other members without any expectation of reciprocation
As a way of carrying on the tradition, members of the New Jersey Chapter of NSA will be giving a free lecture for the
Department of Labor. The event is called:
Job Search - Jump Start!
More Thoughts, Ideas, Techniques, and Approaches to Land Your Next Gig
When: Wednesday, November 12th - 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Where: County of Morris Fire Fighters & Police Training Academy, 500 West Hanover Avenue, Parsippany,
NJ 07050 ( www.morrisacademy.org)
Register: The facility can only accommodate 230 people so pre-registration is required at psg.eventbrite.com. Don’t
delay. Once the seats are filled (and they are filling up fast), registration will be closed.
Everyone is welcome. There is no cost to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
